If you are from a rural area and your age is below 30 years, if you like to change your community, if you want to learn how to make a project to change your community, if you want to learn how to make great photos to support your project and ideas, if you want to be a real and successful leader to change your community and develop your professionalism in the social work- this is the great chance to you to make your dream success.</p>
<p>CCN, together with the association Nexes and the enterprise Fotoprix from Spain, welcome you to attend the new type of training course that will be held in Kathmandu from 24th March until 30th March 2012. The course will run from the Morning 11 AM to 5:00 PM. Please find detail about it in attachment for your further information. There were about 375 audiences in the program. After the performance the actors explained about the performance and the ways to prevent environmental pollution.</p>
<p>Environmental pollution is an emerging issue around the world and it affects us directly and indirectly leading to bad health. So, CCN organized Forum Theatre Program to make people aware about the environmental pollution and how it can be prevented. <p>This program was based on Child rights and against child labour. Child labour is the main problem in developing countries including Nepal. So we performed drama to make people aware of child rights, to show the reality of home child labourers, to decrease the number of child labourers in Nepal and to promote the child rights of child labourers. There were about 250 people came to see the program. They realised that reality of the child labour in Nepal.</p>

Altogether nearly 75 participants including students, teachers from societal school, CCN staffs, Nepalese as well as European Volunteers were actively participated. It was aimed at all sectors, including local communities, general public, schools and decision-makers at local and national-level. Kathmandu Municipality and Government of Nepal, Ministry of Local development supported for environment awareness program. Municipality provided bus to manage garbage things which we collected from Ratna Park. In the same way Government of Nepal, Ministry of Local development helped by giving some gloves.</p>
<p>       All participants got together in societal Higher Secondary School at 10 o&#8217;clock in the morning. We divided group in different 4 sub groups. Then we moved to Ratna Park. Two European Volunteers from Austria and France who are working as a CCN volunteers spoke about the garbage management system of European country and public awareness about environment in Europe. We divided different four groups. We started to clean Ratna Park from four corners of Park. The Park was very dirty so we spent nearly two hours to clean the park. There were so many people from different places and from different level inside the park. During cleaning time, many people came to involve in our program and they discussed about the continuity of the program.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Campaign for Change-Nepal (CCN) has been hosting European volunteers through the project Voices from Around the World since 2008 with the co-ordination of CESIE, Italy.  Now CCN is hosting 5 (one volunteers will arrive after some days) European volunteers. CCN organized on arrival training for European from 16 to 20 June 2011.</p>
<p>Three volunteers (Ricardo, Kai and Mathieu) arrived on 15<sup>th </sup>June and one volunteer Attila from Hungary) arrived on 16<sup>th</sup> June 2011 in Nepal. CCN Nepali volunteer Bala Ram Gaire went to airport to receive European volunteers. Mentor Mina Bhattarai and Nepali language teacher Yam Kala Aryal welcomed to European volunteers with Red Tika in the flat. President of Campaign for Change-Nepal Yagya Raj Aryal and Roberta, Coordinator of CESiE were also involved in the welcome program. CCN president, Coordinator form coordinating organization, mentor, CCN staff Nepali volunteers and European volunteers were actively participated in training program. <strong>       </strong></p>
<p>Objectives of the on arrival training were to provide information about Nepal, to introduce European volunteers with local community and partner organization, local market, to provide Nepali language Class and to discuss about volunteer&#8217;s interest and feeling.<a href="http://ccn.org.np/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/DSC03283.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-459" title="Photo of wellcome " src="http://ccn.org.np/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/DSC03283-300x200.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="200" /></a></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Campaign for change-Nepal (CCN) organized environment awareness program through forum theatre in landless community on 9<sup>th</sup> April 2011. The program was started from 12 o&#8217;clock. There were more than 100 people participated in the forum theatre program.  CCN members, Nepalese as well as European volunteers and the youth group were actively participated in the program. Youth people from the community also actively participated in forum theatre program about the sustainable development of environment in Nepal.  Forum theatre group started the program <strong>with musical chair to gather the local community people</strong>. Children of this community participated in the musical chair competition program in interesting way their parents also were enjoyed a lot from musical chair competition game. Two different groups were took part in game. When game was playing People were getting-together in large number. Musical Chair game was continues one hour.</p>
<p>When people gathered in mass, forum theatre group played forum theatre in the environment theme of sustainable development. Objectives of the program were to make people aware to preserve environment, to make people habituate to use dust bin for the garbage management, to teach about the compost from the garbage from our home (which is we use or eat daily), to teach about the reuse of the garbage. After finishing the forum theatre performance, Forum theatre group asked to audiences about the feedback of the program. Chair person of the Community: Chandra Bahadur Lama expressed to thankful to the forum theatre group and Campaign for Change-Nepal (CCN), he committed to manage garbage things in specific places for sustainable development for environment, he suggested to community people to use dust bin. Then Kalpana requested to take seat to CCN President, Chairman of the landless community, EVS volunteers-Anna and Pia, EVs mentor-Mina and teachers of landless Community School.</p>
<p>CCN president Yagya Raj Aryal spoke about over Material Handover program. He was very active to make clear community people about previous volunteer Andrea and his effort for landless community. Yagya Raj Aryal suggested to community people, students, teachers and chairman of the community to use materials in good way, to make useable for long term.  Again Yagya thanked to Andrea and his memorable uncountable help.</p>
<p>Kalpana Thakuri requested to Mr Yagya Raj Aryal, Anna, Pia, Mina to handover materials and she requested to community people, chairman of the community, teachers and student to receive materials.</p>
<p>Lastly, Indra Bahadur Tamang; chairman of the landless community expressed thanks to Andrea as representing from all community people. He told that community people never forget CCN contribution for landless community. Nepal is agro-based country. People plant paddy in every year in rainy season.  CCN president, staff, volunteers as well as European volunteers participated in paddy planting program. There were many community people; political leaders were involving to celebrate the program.</p>
<p>People played with clay to each others. European volunteers are also played with mud and enjoyed a lot. They shared their feeling that they got first opportunity to participate in these kinds of activities because they never know how to plant paddy and how it produces. Volunteers participated in singing and dancing program. They danced with Nepali People in Nepali music. After finishing the paddy planting, we all engaged in lunch program. The lunch was typical Nepali food like: beaten rice, curd, pickle and sweet. The program was really interesting.</p>
