About CCN

World of 21st century, with the passage of time have transformed into the distinct structure and definition. Awareness and active life of people in this era are functioned to possess an access to empowerment of every ways. The discrimination and the negative impacts present in the society are aimed to bring an end to it. The definition and clear working strategies of every G / NGOs, private sectors, political parties, business agencies and organizations, institutional organizations and local agencies is of utmost importance. With commitment on all these issues and for peace, harmony and social change, this organization is established by the committed youths.

Initially our activities focused for the women, children and youths from deprived section of the society, Nutrition education, free medical check-ups, treatments and concealing for HIV/Aids affected and Drug addicts . In the same way had provided skill development training for income generation. During this phase, it was essential for legal registration for expansion and to set up the formal working structure.  So, on 05-05-2005 AD (2062/01/22 BS) the registration has done at District Administration Office in Kathmandu and on 09-06-2005 (2061/03/05 BS) affiliated at Social Welfare Council, Nepal.

    Vision:

    To establish culturally vibrant, socially participatory, democratic and economically sustainable society introducing a change in socio-economic and cultural sectors.
     

    Mission:

    To gather, organize and empower the community and mobilize them for the betterment of the society.

    Objectives:

    1. To advocate and conduct the awareness program for human rights, democracy and good governance promotion in society.
    2. To take initiative on social inclusion process of the gender, caste and regionally disadvantaged and deprived groups.
    3. To carry out awareness, counseling and rehabilitation programs on HIV/AIDS, Drug addiction and trafficking related issues. 
    4. To conduct community focused, especially for women and unemployed youth, income generation and self-employ skill development program for their economic and social sustainability.
    5. To promote participatory activities in the field of infrastructure such as education, health services, sports, science, technology and alternative energy.
    6. To conduct the different program on the issue of reproductive health, sexual right and safe motherhood.
    7. To take initiative for the rights of internal and external migrant workers and domestic child workers.
    8. To conduct the different environment protection and eco-tourism based programs.
    9. To provide a collective action of help during the time of natural disaster and social conflict.
    10. To organize Monitoring, advocating and awareness campaign program during the local, National and international election and after the election

    Structure of Organization:
    This organization is a national level, non-profitable & right base organization.  We have our access with partner organization and representatives in all the five development regions of the country. This organization is for the community by the youth. Thus, it is the community-based organization and its structure has been decentralized. We have one hundred and fifty-two general members all over the country among them seven board member and twelve active members are involved in the organization as volunteers.

    Resource of Income:
    We have three types of members, which are general member, active member and Board member. It is paying Nepalese currency 100 by general member and 200 by active member annually. Occasionally, we conduct different types of Labor Camp for fund raising. Except general, active membership and Labor Camp fees, we do not have any other regular income resources.
